Good training also requires good partners in the school part of the training. We currently cooperate with the following vocational schools:
The vocational school varies depending on the training occupation and will be determined by us for you. Please refer to the overview under the respective training occupation.
We register you at the right vocational school and make sure that our trainees in the same occupation attend the same school class if possible.
We provide well-equipped workplaces for you. Depending on your apprenticeship, you can use our specially equipped training center or, especially in the commercial and IT professions, even work in mobile work. Otherwise, of course, every workstation is adapted to ergonomic requirements.
During your apprenticeship, you will benefit from a top apprentice salary in accordance with the collective agreement of the metal and electrical industry in North Rhine-Westphalia plus a voluntary bonus. In addition, we will pay the monthly costs for your apprentice ticket, so that you are flexible and mobile and can also travel to vocational school without worrying about wind and weather. Of course, you can also use the ticket for your free time!
Our vacation entitlement is based on the regulations of the collective agreement for the metal and electrical industry in North Rhine-Westphalia. It currently amounts to 30 vacation days per calendar year. The entitlement is calculated pro rata for the months that you are employed by us in a calendar year.
Your training with us generally begins on August 1. Due to school vacations, it is possible that the vocational school will not start until a later date. You will be informed directly by the school.

Please apply exclusively via our homepage by uploading your application documents and answer all questions truthfully. Applications via mail or e-mail will not be processed.
An ideal time for your application for the following year at VAHLE is from the summer vacations until around the middle/end of October. It is of course still possible to apply after this time, but then it is not certain that we will be able to consider your application.
Once you have uploaded your application, you will receive a confirmation of receipt via emai. After the selection process has started, your application will be reviewed. If it meets our expectations, you will be invited to a recruitment test. If the result is good, we would like to get to know you better in an interview. If we offer you a training position after this interview, you've made it!
With us, you will work in various departments to gain a wide range of impressions and experience. It is important to us to challenge you every day and to consolidate what you have learned in feedback sessions. We also support you individually so that you can develop further.
We promote camaraderie amongst our trainee teams through joint events and project work. In addition to excursions and a trainee Christmas party, you can of course also take part in all other activities such as company parties and company sports.
With us, you can combine your professional and private life. A 35-hour week with flexible working hours, 30 days of vacation and generally free time after vocational school gives you the freedom you need.

Wie auch schon im letzten Jahr sammeln wir, bei VAHLE, Spenden für das Kinder-und Jugendhospiz in Unna✨ Dafür hat die Personalabteilung heute einen Kuchenbasar veranstaltet, bei dem sich alle Mitarbeitenden Kuchen und Kekse in Form einer Spende erwerben konnten🍪🍰
