IT specialist | Training at VAHLE

As an IT specialist trainee in the field of systems integration, you will learn how complex IT systems are designed, implemented and adapted to suit the user. You will be supported by nice colleagues whom you can always talk to. As a computer expert you are the first contact person for all technical matters. This can be a crashed computer, the installation of new IT systems, the maintenance of equipment or repairs of various kinds. In addition, you will teach users how to use applications correctly in training courses and learn the first steps in the administration of servers and networks.

A prerequisite for this training is, last but not least, curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. Maybe you have already taken a computer apart for fun at home or helped relatives or friends to set up their computers or networks. Other advantages are conscientiousness, perseverance and a certain degree of communication skills. If you are also good at math, computer science and English, you have everything you need for this training.

Vocational school and duration of training

The training to become an IT specialist is a so-called dual training: You learn the theoretical basics at Hellweg Berufskolleg in Unna, and the practical side at our company. The training lasts three years, but can be shortened if you perform well.
