VAHLE will be present at booth C20 at TOC Europe, the most important port trade fair, which will take place in Rotterdam from June 13 to 15.
Kamen / Rotterdam (NL), May 31, 2023 - Paul Vahle GmbH & Co. KG is presenting several innovative solutions for green port terminals at this year's TOC Europe in Rotterdam, Netherlands. From June 13th to 15th, the system provider for mobile industrial applications will showcase at its booth C20, among others, various energy and data transmission solutions aimed at increasing energy efficiency and reducing the carbon footprint of port terminals. To this end, the Kamen-based company has developed a variety of technologies specifically tailored to the requirements of the port industry.
"TOC Europe is the port exhibition highlight in the calendar year for us and offers us the optimal platform to present our green solutions for port terminals and to exchange ideas about them with experts," emphasizes Jaroslaw Warzecha, Director System at the VAHLE Group and responsible for the port business. As a pioneer for sustainable technologies in the maritime industry, VAHLE will show, among other things, its innovative solutions for electrically operated automated container terminals and environmentally friendly drive concepts that enable sustainable CO2 reduction.
The central topic at the VAHLE booth will be the electrification of port terminals. Visitors to the trade fair will be able to discover, among other things, the latest automation and power transmission solutions for diesel cranes for greenfield facilities as well as innovative solution approaches for the modernization of brownfield terminals.
In addition, the system provider for mobile industrial applications will also be presenting its solutions for STS (ship-to-shore) cranes, including the innovative USMGX technology. The latter is used to ensure reliable and efficient power supply and improve crane performance. VAHLE will also showcase its shore power solutions for the quayside. This allows ships to be supplied with power while in port, which in turn helps to further reduce their emissions in port.
VAHLE can be found at booth C20 at TOC Europe, one of the world's largest trade exhibitions for port, marine and terminal technology. "Anyone who wants to see our solutions live in action is cordially invited to visit our booth to get an idea. In addition, we are looking forward to the professional exchange with experts from the maritime industries," Warzecha is pleased to say. In addition, he says, the company is proud to be playing its part in shaping a sustainable future for container terminals.
