Automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) are the linchpin of automatic storage and retrieval in high-bay warehouses. They can be single or multi-lane and move in three directions along their longitudinal, transverse or vertical axis. They operate either aisle-bound or serve the entire warehouse via a switch system.
Since automated high-bay warehouses generally operate around the clock, the stacker cranes must be available at all times. Unexpected failures or downtimes have a particularly severe effect at this point.
Increasing throughput volumes, faster travel speeds and the handling of ever heavier loads require a powerful power supply as well as reliable systems for control and positioning. In order to make optimum use of warehouse space, there is regularly only limited space available for power and data transmission.

The VKS10 was specially developed for intralogistics and enables the transmission of drive power, control currents as well as other signal transmission.
The VKS was developed for small construction towers and can be assigned up to six poles. This allows the system to transmit control currents and other signals in addition to the drive power.
The lightweight U15, U25 and U35 feature an open design that makes them particularly easy to maintain. Available in various conductor materials, they are also flexible and easy to install.
The SMGM enables the integration of interference-free data transmission. The communication takes place in a shielded aluminum profile, the so-called slotted microwave guide, so that no interference or any influence of other communication systems in the environment must be considered. Due to its very compact design, it can be easily integrated into almost all common EHB profiles and systems.
