Skillet systems are used primarily in the automotive industry. In order for the mobile lifting tables to fulfill their function, they must be supplied with power and controlled with positional accuracy. VAHLE offers various solutions for this.
Skillet systems consist of mobile working platforms arranged in a row. They are mainly used in the automotive industry where heavy loads are transported. Thanks to variable working heights, they ensure flexible assembly. For this purpose, the skillets each have a lifting table which must be supplied with power.
In order to be integrated into different production lines and enable smooth workflows, the skillets also require positioning with millimeter precision. The prerequisite for this is uninterrupted data streams. In addition, the shear skids have to meet a wide variety of performance requirements due to the diversity of models.

The VAHLE VCSX control series is ideally suited for use in these applications due to its modular and configurable construction kit concept, consisting of variously combinable options in housing sizes, power class combinations, data transmission types, encoder support and I/O connection, and can be easily adapted to the respective requirements.
The safe and TÜV-tested application controls VCS-SMG-SAFE and VCS-PCB-SAFE enable the simple realization of safety functions through pre-designed technology applications. The safe control and monitoring of the drive technology is completely solved by the VCS-SMG-SAFE or VCS-PCB-SAFE.
The VCS1 is a modular solution that can use both half-wave or rail bus via power rail for signal transmission between the control unit and mobile applications.
The CPS 140kHz is a small yet powerful inductive solution used to safely supply mobile applications with power. It is easy to install and offers a high-power density.

The communication takes place in a shielded aluminum profile, the so-called slotted microwave guide, so that no interference or any influence of other communication systems in the environment must be considered.
