History


1912

On April 9th, 1912, Paul Vahle put the first conductor rails into operation and filed a patent application for his invention. The company VAHLE is founded in Dortmund as a partnership.

1926

Paul Vahle dies and hiswife Helene manages the company.

1932

Son Paul Werner Vahle takes over the father's company.

1956

Property is acquired at Westicker Strasse, Kamen. In 1958 the production started in Kamen, the administration moves one year later from Dortmund to Kamen.

1962

Start of production of enclosed conductor system type KSL.

1966

Establishment of Paul Vahle GmbH & Co. KG. Josef Hötte joins the company. He will be working here for more than 40 years and will be part of the management team for almost 30 years.

1987

As a result of the development of electric monorail systems, the U10 conductor system is invented.

1998

Development of the Contactless Power Supply (CPS®) for inductive power transmission.

2007

FABA product line conductor systems acquired.

2012

VAHLE celebrates its 100th anniversary.

2016

Establishment of VAHLE Automation.
